You see how hard this group of new home owners works and how much they sacrifice to better their lives for their families and you are inspired by their efforts everyday.

The volunteers and supporters have shown you again and again how beautiful the entire community is. They, too, give so much of their time, talents, and treasures to help build homes and hope. You will likely never stop being amazed at their generosity as a group.

The people you have had the pleasure to work with have made a lot happen over the last 10 years and you have taken different lessons from each of them. You are more than grateful for all they have you done to help you both learn and grow in the skills that are needed for successful and meaningful not for profit work.

After reflecting on all of the people you have worked with, however, you know that none have been as influential as the director, your boss. After 10 years, you would say that the two of you are a lot less like coworkers, and much more like family. You see how fiercely she loves the home buyers and how dedicated she is to the organization’s mission and her passion has been contagious.
